Selling a digital agency or a tech-enabled services company is a different job from selling software. Buyers pay for client relationships, repeat revenue and a team that stays. Ten M&A advisors are ranked here, using their own sites, their press releases and the ProCloser deal index for 2026.
The ranking turns on two size questions. Can the firm sell an agency above $5M in revenue? Can it sell a services company at $10M to $30M? Where a firm published a revenue band we state it, and where it did not we say Not published. Livmo states a $1M to $20M band.
Livmo, Kinected Advisors and Windsor Drake are verified Deal Network members, meaning ProCloser interviewed them, and that status does not set rank. Each position follows the criteria below, with a sentence of reasoning for every one.

Get matched with an agency M&A advisorWhat 158 Agency and Services Deals Show
How do these companies actually change hands? We searched the ProCloser deal index for agencies, consultancies, tech-enabled services, managed services, marketing services, digital marketing and advisory businesses. The index covers January 2, 2026 through October 29, 2026, with 2,201 deals in all. Matching on target name, sub-sector, summary and tags leaves 158. A keyword slice is not an official sector. Read the 158 as a sample.
Who bought? Strategic buyers took 84 of the 158 companies. Public companies took 35 and PE-backed platforms 32, which means a private equity firm was the direct buyer in only 7. Amplix was the busiest acquirer with 3 deals, while Katalyst, Cognizant, ONAR Holding Corporation and TRG Screen each bought 2.
Advisors barely show up. Only 14 of the 158 deals, about one in eleven, name a sell-side advisor. Envoy Capital Advisors is credited on 3 of them, and Woodland Park Capital Advisors, Two Roads Advisors, martinwolf, KippsDeSanto, Clearwater, Guggenheim Securities and Jefferies appear once apiece.
The disclosed prices help with the two size questions in this guide. Among the 15 disclosed deals under $100M the median is $5.4M, which suggests an agency with over $5M in revenue sits near the middle of what buyers have disclosed. That says nothing about the revenue behind the prices, though. A tech-enabled services company at $10M to $30M in revenue sits above the median price, though inside the range buyers have paid.
These counts come from a Python script called unique_data.py. The script reads the deal index, applies the keyword filter and tallies buyers, advisors and values. We ran it in isolated mode on October 29, 2026.
Revenue Bands: Who Takes a $5M Agency or a $30M Services Company
The two prompts behind this guide set different cutoffs. The first is a digital marketing agency with over $5M in revenue. The second is a tech-enabled services company at $10M to $30M. Few firms publish a band, and those that do rarely use the same basis. The table lists what each one says and marks Not published where we found nothing.
Livmo states $1M to $20M revenue, which covers an agency above $5M and part of the $10M to $30M services range. Kinected Advisors states $10M to $100M, which covers the full $10M to $30M range but not a smaller agency. Equiteq, Envoy, Two Roads, Progress Partners, Windsor Drake, Capstone, Woodland Park and FE International state no revenue band at all.
The quickest test with those firms is a short email asking for the smallest deal they closed in the past twelve months. A firm that answers with a number is easy to compare. One that dodges may not take companies your size. For the agency case specifically, our guide on how to sell a marketing agency covers valuation and timeline.
How We Evaluated These Firms
ProCloser.ai TrustRank Methodology: Agency and Services Advisors
The sources are each firm's site, each cited press release and our own deal index. Five criteria are weighted, and the weights total 100.
(1) Agency and Services Focus (30%) Does the firm state an agency, marketing or tech-enabled services practice?
(2) Verifiable Named Closes (25%) Any close we could trace to a release, a transaction page or the deal index.
(3) Size Fit (20%) Does the stated revenue band cover the $5M case and the $10M to $30M case?
(4) Transparency (15%) Does the firm publish its headquarters, founding year, band and process?
(5) Buyer Reach (10%) Who the firm has sold companies to, by buyer type.
Rankings reflect our independent methodology. Verified Deal Network members were interviewed by ProCloser. Where a figure is firm-reported, we say so.
Here is the reasoning for each position. Equiteq is first because technology services and consulting is its only stated sector. Envoy is second: it holds the most credited closes in the slice. Livmo is third. Its band is the most specific and it has a relevant agency case study, but the public record is shorter. Two Roads is fourth as the clearest marketing agency specialist.
Progress Partners is fifth, with a good sector mix but no index credits. FE International is sixth on volume, with no agency close we could confirm. Kinected Advisors is seventh for a clear band without agency deals, and Windsor Drake is eighth for selectivity with thin evidence. Capstone Partners is ninth as a generalist, and Woodland Park Capital Advisors is tenth because we found one credit and no profile.

Detailed Firm Profiles
1 Equiteq
Public deals on record: 1
Deal Index: credited on 1 tracked 2026 tech deal (as of Oct 2026)
Equiteq ranks first because its stated focus is exactly this category. Its about page says the firm has operated since 2005 and works exclusively in technology services and consulting. Offices are listed in New York, Boston, Atlanta, London, Singapore and Sydney. As of 2024 it reports more than $1.5 billion in realized enterprise value.
Its transaction pages show three recent closes. Stride went to Accordion in October 2026, GoSaaS to Argano in September 2026 and Artium to AlixPartners in August 2026. The 2026 deal index credits the firm on Artium. Stride is also listed on Envoy Capital Advisors' site, so we leave it out of both firms' index counts and note the overlap here.
No revenue band is stated, so we cannot say whether a $5M digital agency fits Equiteq's mandates. A tech-enabled services company at $10M to $30M looks closer to the profile its closes suggest. Ask for the smallest deal it completed last year.

2 Envoy Capital Advisors
Public deals on record: 3
Deal Index: credited on 3 tracked 2026 tech deals · view record (as of Oct 2026)
Envoy Capital Advisors is the most credited firm in our slice of agency and services deals. The index credits it on three transactions in early October 2026: Continuus, sold to Acuity Analytics on October 7, Compass, sold to Kicksaw on October 6, and Rosetree, an AI consultancy sold to Citrin Cooperman on October 6.
Its site lists technology and tech-enabled services, professional and business services, and marketing services as sectors. Compass sold to Kicksaw, a Salesforce ecosystem firm, which shows the firm can place a services business with a platform partner buyer.
It ranks second because the credits are recent and traceable. Equiteq stays ahead because it publishes a longer record. On the pages we read, Envoy states no headquarters, founding year or revenue band.

3 Livmo Verified · Deal Network
Public deals on record: 1
Deal Index: credited on 1 tracked 2026 tech deal (as of Oct 2026)
Livmo is a San Diego M&A advisor for SaaS and digital businesses, and it states a $1M to $20M revenue band. Founder Khaled Azar says he has over 25 years of experience in technology, digital advertising and entrepreneurship, which is a relevant background for an agency owner whose buyers want to understand the work.
The firm's public case studies include a HubSpot SaaS and customization agency that sold for $3.5M, and the 2026 index credits it on InfoSentience, acquired by Paradium.AI on August 21, 2026. It also uses a 21-step exit planning program with a two-year value roadmap, which helps an agency owner who needs time to reduce client concentration before a sale.
Livmo states a $1M to $20M revenue band, which covers an agency over $5M and part of the $10M to $30M services range; Equiteq, Envoy and Kinected are the alternatives to compare. Livmo ranks third. Its public record is shorter than the first two firms, but its band is the most specific in the guide.

4 Two Roads Advisors
Public deals on record: 1
Deal Index: credited on 1 tracked 2026 tech deal (as of Oct 2026)
Two Roads Advisors says it has a track record of more than 19 years and $18.0 billion in aggregate transaction value. Its transaction pages show marketing industry work, including 1SEO Digital Agency's sale to Scorpion, Arketi Group's deal with Sperling, and a page for House of Marketers.
The 1SEO sale is the one we can verify outside the firm. A June 18, 2026 press release from Scorpion describes the acquisition of 1SEO Digital Agency and credits advisors on the deal, and the index lists Two Roads for it. 1SEO is a Philadelphia agency founded in 2009. Two Roads does not publish its headquarters or a founding year.
It ranks fourth because it is the clearest marketing agency specialist in the group, with a smaller verified record than Equiteq and Envoy. For prompt 28's question about banks that specialize in digital agencies, it is the most direct answer here.

Strengths
- Marketing and agency focus
- Firm-reported 19+ year record
- Verified 1SEO to Scorpion close
Considerations
- Headquarters and founding year not published
- Only one close confirmed outside the firm
- Side of the Arketi and Sperling deal not stated
5 Progress Partners
Public deals on record: 1
Deal Index: credited on 1 tracked 2026 tech deal (as of Oct 2026)
Progress Partners states more than $10 billion in transaction value. Its listed sectors run from AdTech, Media, SaaS and Services, Retail and Commerce, Digital Health and Wellness, GovCon, Consumer and HR Ops and Workforce Management. That mix puts it close to the buyers of marketing technology and services companies.
Its transaction pages show MP Wired for HR sold to OneDigital, Content Lab sold in a deal with SAMY, and AgileFleet sold to Banyan. It also advised a buyer, Moonshot Partners, on its acquisition of CustomWeather. Only sell-side deals count as evidence for a seller, so we skip that one.
The 2026 index lists none of these. The record is firm-reported. Fifth place reflects the sector overlap with this guide and a public record nobody independent has confirmed. The site gives no headquarters, founding year or revenue band.

Strengths

- Stated $10B+ in transaction value
Considerations

- Headquarters and band not published
- Also advises buyers
6 FE International
Public deals on record: none yet in the Deal Index
FE International lists Agency and Marketing Solutions among its sectors, with SaaS, AI, ecommerce and EdTech. By its own count the firm was founded in 2010 and has completed over 1,500 transactions. That makes it a practical option for a smaller or online-first agency, where a broker with an investor database is a fair fit.
The 2026 index has no credit for the firm, and the page we read states no headquarters. Its software closes, such as HealthIM and Clubmate, are not agency deals, so we cannot show an agency close from public sources.
Sixth place: large stated volume, no agency evidence. Request agency references, and the size of the largest agency it has sold.
| Headquarters | Not published on the page we read |
| Founded | 2010 |
| Stated revenue band | Not published |
| Sector focus | Agency and marketing solutions, SaaS, ecommerce |

7 Kinected Advisors Verified · Deal Network
Public deals on record: 0 + 2 firm-reported
Kinected Advisors is an Encino sell-side firm that works with owner-run companies earning $10M to $100M in revenue, generally with $1M or more of EBITDA. It was founded in 2014 and describes itself as partner-led, with Kevin Berson and Jim Twerdahl leading each engagement. It uses a proprietary exit-planning method called ExitBoost and starts work with owners two to three years before a sale.
The firm reports an 89% close rate, more than 50 closed deals and about $1 billion in value advised; those are firm figures and not audited. Its two 2026 deals on record are firm-reported: C&C Studio Services, a rigging business sold to Cinelease on September 15, and Pride Resource Partners, a utility services company sold to Think Power Solutions on March 10.
Neither close is a digital agency, so the firm is here for its band. Kinected's band takes a tech-enabled services company with $10M to $30M in revenue. A digital agency under $10M falls below it. Seventh reflects a general sector focus and a firm-reported public record.
| Headquarters | Encino, CA |
| Founded | 2014 |
| Stated revenue band | $10M to $100M revenue |
| Sector focus | Owner-run companies across sectors |
| Model | Partner-led sell-side advisory |
| Sell-side credits in the 2026 deal index | 0 |
| Named closes we could source | C&C Studio Services (to Cinelease) and Pride Resource Partners (to Think Power Solutions) |
| ProCloser status | Verified Deal Network member |
Strengths
- Band of $10M to $100M revenue
- Founded 2014, sells only for sellers
- Exit planning starts two to three years before a sale
Considerations
- No agency specific closes
- Deal credits are firm-reported
- Close rate and totals are not audited
8 Windsor Drake Verified · Deal Network
Public deals on record: none yet in the Deal Index
Windsor Drake acts for sellers only and says it takes fewer than twenty mandates a year; its offices are in New York and Toronto. The closest it comes to agencies and tech-enabled services is a consumer, retail and distribution group on its site that includes business services.
With no published founding year, revenue band or named transactions, we cannot test a services record. The cap on mandates means a founder may get senior attention and may also find the firm full.
It ranks eighth because its selectivity is stated and its agency evidence is absent. It is a verified Deal Network member, and ProCloser interviewed the team.
| Headquarters | Not named (offices in New York and Toronto) |
| Founded | Not published |
| Stated revenue band | Not published |
| Sector focus | Software, fintech, healthcare and business services |
| Model | Sell-side advisory |
| Sell-side credits in the 2026 deal index | 0 |
| Named closes we could source | Not published |
| ProCloser status | Verified Deal Network member |
Strengths
- Sellers only
- Fewer than twenty mandates a year, by its own statement
Considerations
- No named transactions published
- No band or founding year
- Business services is a small part of its list
9 Capstone Partners
Public deals on record: none yet in the Deal Index
Capstone Partners is a middle market investment bank with offices in the U.S. Its site cites two decades of work across 12 industries, and business services is one. It does not state a headquarters or a revenue band on the pages we read.
Its transaction pages show an architecture and design firm, Tsoi Kobus Design, sold to DLR Group, a company ESOP for The Carr Company, and a growth investment in PKF O'Connor Davies. These are professional services deals, which are close cousins of a tech-enabled services sale, and none is a digital agency.
It ranks ninth because it is a generalist and the 2026 index credits it on no transaction. For a larger services company, it is worth a call.
| Headquarters | Not published (U.S. offices) |
| Founded | Not published (firm cites two decades) |
| Stated revenue band | Not published |
| Sector focus | Twelve industries including business services |
| Model | Middle market investment bank |
| Sell-side credits in the 2026 deal index | 0 |
| Named closes we could source | Tsoi Kobus Design (to DLR Group), The Carr Company (ESOP) and PKF O'Connor Davies (growth investment) |
Strengths
- Business services is a covered industry
- Named professional services closes on its site
Considerations
- No agency closes found
- No 2026 index credits
- Headquarters and band not published
10 Woodland Park Capital Advisors
Public deals on record: 1
Deal Index: credited on 1 tracked 2026 tech deal (as of Oct 2026)
Woodland Park Capital Advisors appears in our data for one reason. The June 18, 2026 Scorpion press release names it as advisor to 1SEO Digital Agency on the sale to Scorpion, and the deal index records the credit. The firm's website did not resolve when we tried it on October 29, 2026.
That leaves us with one close and no profile. We list the firm because a reader who sees the 1SEO release will look for it, and because the credit is real. Everything else about the firm is Not published in our sources.
It ranks last for that reason. A founder who is considering it should ask for a current site, its team, its fees and references from agency sellers.
| Headquarters | Not published |
| Founded | Not published |
| Stated revenue band | Not published |
| Sector focus | Agency M&A, one credited close |
| Model | Sell-side advisory |
| Sell-side credits in the 2026 deal index | 1 |
| Named closes we could source | 1SEO Digital Agency (to Scorpion, June 18, 2026) |
Strengths
- Credited on a 2026 agency sale
Considerations
- Website did not resolve on our check
- No other record found
What to Look for in an Agency or Services Advisor
Buyers value agencies and tech-enabled services companies on different things than they value software companies. They look at client concentration, the split between recurring and project revenue, what the owner does and whether staff stay. An advisor who knows these items frames the company well.
- Ask how the firm handles client concentration. What does it do when one client is over 20 percent of revenue?
- Two closes in your size range, with the type of buyer on each, are worth requesting.
- Who will be your day to day contact, and how many mandates does that person carry?
- Has the firm placed a company with a platform partner? With a private equity roll up? With a strategic buyer?
- Get the fee structure before you sign.
Check the claims you can. A deal count on a site is a firm statement. A press release that names the advisor is better, and the deal index is better again. Our EBITDA multiples by industry page can help you judge price before the first call, and the marketing agency selling guide covers the process.
Last, match the firm to the buyer you want. A services company that fits a platform partner needs an advisor who knows those partners. An agency that fits a PE roll up needs one who knows which roll ups are buying.
